It received the Junmai Daiginjo Trophy Champion Sake and Gold Medal among 860 sake brands - Made from premium sake rice, Yamadanishiki, and fresh water from the brewery’s home ground, Kitakata City, it releases a refreshing, fruity aroma. Its beautifully dry taste overflows with elegant sweetness and crisp quality.

Famous for having been gifted to each country leader from Japanese Prime Minister, Shinzo Abe in the G7 Ise Shima Summit in 2016, this sake is made from Yamadanishiki rice polished up to 40% with the excellent water of Kitakata sourced in the sacred Mt. Iide. The beverage comes in a special box made of paulownia tree. This Jyunmai Daiginjo sake is rich with a gorgeous fresh and fruity scent and characterized by being dry and sweet at the same time which results in an elegant yet crispy aftertaste.

Homare Sake Brewery Co., Ltd. is a time-honored sake brewery established in 1918. Since 2013, it has won the gold award for five years in a row in The International Wine Challenge, the world’s most respected blind-taste wine competition. Moreover, it received the Champion Sake in 2015 out of 876 bottles.



Homare Sake Brewery is in Kitakata city on the foot of Mt. Iide. The brewery was originally established as the Kanou Shuzo in 1918 and changed its name throughout the years before eventually becoming the Aizu Homare Brewery (homare means honor, glory or praise).



Their beautiful Japanese garden would be the perfect spot to enjoy Homare’s products. The tasting room at the reception would be one to remember.
